Both stays have their own private wood fired hot tub in the garden. Ideal for getting away from it all for a while.

Your own hot tub with both stays

• Bed & Wellness: a B&B with a private Finnish sauna, a kitchenette and its own wood fired hot tub outside. You end the day with sauna and hot tub.
• The Guesthouse: a converted barn with a full kitchen, a bedroom on the upper floor and its own wood fired hot tub in your own part of the garden.

You share the hot tub with nobody: it belongs to your stay. Because of the heating costs and the extra cleaning, use of the hot tub is not included in the price. The surcharge per day is on the pricing page.

Relaxing evenings, all year round

Whether you have cycled, hiked, been shopping, explored the city or seen the sights: an evening in the hot tub is always an excellent treat for body and mind at the end of the day. That is true in every season.

In spring and summer you sit outside among the greenery of the garden while the day slowly cools down. In autumn and winter the warm water makes a lovely contrast with the fresh air. That is how you truly wind down in the evening, and talk over what you saw and did that day in peace.

The water takes about two hours to heat up, and we are more than happy to do that for you. Once it is at body temperature, you can spend hours in it.

A day out from Overasselt

• Cycling or mountain biking: the cycle node network makes it easy to plan your own route. The woods around Nijmegen hold some of the best mountain bike routes in the Netherlands, and bikes can be rented in the area.
• Hiking: the Overasseltse and Hatertse fens nature reserve is 2.5 km away, and the Meuse is close by.
• Shopping and dining: the centre of Nijmegen is 12 km away, less than 15 minutes by car. The bus takes you to Nijmegen railway station in about 30 minutes. The cosy town of Grave, 5 km away, also has shops and restaurants.
• Sightseeing: stroll along the Waalkade, visit one of the museums or come to an event in Nijmegen.
• City trips: even though Nijmegen, the oldest city of the Netherlands, is close by, guests from abroad also use our B&B as a base for city trips to other Dutch cities such as 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch), Utrecht and Amsterdam.
